It's been almost a week now since the first day I stepped my feet on the territory of Shanghai... :) Life's good although I'm still a lil bit sick but I do enjoy this trip.
Class is not as fun as I thought and expected but it's ok! Three weeks are just gonna be blinks of eyes. There are lotsa photos and stuff I want to say but due to time constraint.. and SUPER SLOW internet connection, I've to delay my story-telling plan :P
Errr.. I have to do my assignment now! =.=" So... Adios!

Words can make people feel that they're in heaven or in hell. Don't you agree with me?
Words can encourage someone but it can also be so poisonous that will make someone felt so discouraged, depressed and become very timid and have low self-esteem.
Just yesterday, someone who is very close to me use some "discouraging terms" to describe me. No doubt, I was very hurt and sad. I just can't understand how could such a close person to me use all these kinds of destructive words to criticize me. Well, I am an open-minded person, I can take critics and change in a condition that I had done something wrong; I should change and the critics are constructive. However, this person was like an uneducated person, spoke without even thinking what the words would cause to somebody. IT HURT ME SO BAD, seriously!
It then makes me realize why in Indonesia we often say, "Mulutmu adalah harimau-mu" which is translated as "Your mouth is your tiger". Why? Because the words that come out from our mouth sometimes are just way too destructive just like how a tiger attacks and kills its victims. After the heart-breaking conversation, I promised myself that from now onwards, every word that comes out from my mouth shall be the constructive words and not the bad ones. I want to build people's confidence and not to destroy. I want to encourage people and not to intimidate or dismay their dreams. I want to be a blessing and not a curse for people.
Think before you say something because your words may be an encouragement or a curse to those whom you're talking to.

Proverbs 10:32
The lips of the godly speak helpful words, but the mouth of the wicked speaks perverse words.
Proverbs 15:28
The heart of the godly thinks carefully before speaking;the mouth of the wicked overflows with evil words

I need to take a loooonnnnnngggggggg rest from lotsa things.
i've been very moody for the past few weeks. i need a good long quality rest, seriously. life isn't so fun lately. is it because of exams? or maybe people around me? or am i just being too sensitive?
thank God 26th Nov is just two weeks away.

On this day of your life, Jenny, we believe God wants you to know ... that humans learn only by trial and error, and that includes you.
You've got to live life, not think about it. Step into the midst of things, try and fail and learn and stand up again. The question is not whether you will or will not make mistakes - you will. The question is do you want to learn and grow, or do you want to shrink back and be stuck? Take that step you've been avoiding. You can succeed, or you can get feedback that it didn't work, but in either case you are sure to feel alive.
I know this is just random thingy from facebook but it does pierce to my heart. Learn and grow. Thanks DADDY!
